Ergonomic Assessment

The Ergonomic Assessment is completed by our Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS) through a review of the employer’s job description, interview with the employee and the employer, and an onsite evaluation of the employee in the primary location where they perform their job duties. A report will be provided based on the findings, which includes specific descriptions, photos, measurements, and recommendations. Ergonomic Assessments are utilized for identifying and mitigating workplace risk factors (i.e. repetitive activities), improving workplace efficiencies and comfort, maximizing safety, increasing productivity, reducing employee downtime, and preventing injury or re-injury. The Ergonomic Assessment will offer recommendations for workplace modifications including assistive technology solutions, seating, furniture placement, work surface layout, work methods/procedures, ergonomic work practices, and human elements/positioning.
