Bettina P. Little, RN, BSN, CLCP, CCM

Ms. Bettina Little is a Registered Nurse with more than 35-years experience in the medical profession and greater than 30 years of experience as a medical case manager and consultant.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is licensed in Florida with a multi-State licensure in nursing.

Ms. Little began her nursing practice in Medical-Surgical nursing providing post operative care.  In 1993, she joined VPS Case Management Consulting Services, Inc. and began her case management practice. She served as Assistant Manager of the Charlotte, NC division.  She served as Director of the Center for Work Rehabilitation & Pain Management, inpatient/outpatient program, in Asheville, NC.  In 1996, Ms. Little pursued study in Life Care Planning earning the CLCP designation in 1998.  In practicing under the CLCP, she branched into Catastrophic case management and Life Care Planning involving primarily, traumatic, and organic brain injury, traumatic and disease induced amputation, burns, spinal cord injury, medical malpractice injury, multiple trauma, and cancer diagnoses.   In progressing her integration of the case management process, she worked for a major airline in management of pilot aeromedical injury and illness. During this time, she was chosen to serve on the American Transportation Medical Committee in Washington, DC focusing on communicable disease processes and airline quarantine decisions. These experiences have provided strong experiences and experiential education in many facets of Case Management.

Ms. Little joined Exceptional Case Services, inc. in 2021 as a medical consultant to continue her case management career. She currently serves, in a Commissioner role, on the International Commission on Health Care Certification Board for Certified Life Care Planning. Ms. Little is a member of the Workers Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP).
