Deanna Valdes, RN, BSN

Deanna Valdes is a Registered Nurse with over 17 years of experience in the medical profession and over 10 years experience in Nursing Leadership & Management. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville University School of Nursing with Summa Cum Laude honors. She currently holds a Multistate Nursing License.

Deanna began her career at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida where she focused her training in medical/surgical and telemetry. She expanded her practice and took her passion for nursing to the University of Florida & Shand’s in Jacksonville, Florida where she served as a staff nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of the Surgical Services Division. She later relocated to South Carolina and continued her career in PACU as a staff nurse, preceptor, and charge nurse at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

In 2011, Deanna advanced her career and became the PACU Clinical Coordinator at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina. She continued her career advancement in the Surgical Services Division at Lexington Medical Center where she was promoted to Perioperative Nurse Manager for the PACU and Outpatient Recovery units.

In 2020, Deanna and her husband relocated back to Florida where she worked for AdventHealth as the Assistant Nurse Manager for Pre-Procedure Testing and the Outpatient Infusion Clinic.

In 2021, Deanna made a career path change and joined Exceptional Case Services as a Medical Consultant to advance her career in case management. She is a member of the Workers Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP).
