Julie Hammond, RN-BC, BSN, CRRN

Ms. Julie Hammond is a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse with 25 years of experience in Rehabilitation Nursing, with more than 20 years of experience as a Field Case Manager/Medical Consultant focusing on Workers’ Compensation, Longshore, and Defense Base Act.

Ms. Hammond graduated from the University of North Florida and was licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida in 1992. She began her nursing career at Memorial Regional Rehabilitation Center (known today as Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital) working with adult and pediatric patients who suffered Traumatic Brain Injuries, Spinal Cord Injuries and Strokes. She became a CRRN in 1994.

After leaving the Hospital based Rehabilitation setting, she acted as the office nurse for a group of local physiatrists from 1995 to 1997. She then ventured into Field Case Management in 1997 with Concentra Integrated Services. She continued her case management career as the Health Director of the Webb Center, a local non-profit agency working with children and young adults with both genetic and acquired disabilities, to assist them in becoming productive members of society from 1998 to 2000. She returned to Field Case Management in 2000 with Concentra Integrated Services and most recently worked for Spruance and Associates from 2006 to 2011.

Ms. Hammond is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Case Management. She holds a multi-state nursing license and provides case management services in both Florida and Georgia.

Ms. Hammond joined Exceptional Case Services in 2011, as a Medical Consultant, with a focus in Worker’s Compensation, Longshore, and Defense Base Act. She is licensed as a Rehabilitation Supplier in Georgia. She is also a member of the Jacksonville Claims Association, Florida Nursing Association and the American Nursing Association.
