Kelley Hurst, MSN, ARNP-BC, CRRN

Ms. Kelley Hurst is a Board Certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience in the medical field spanning nearly 20 years.

Ms. Hurst’s medical career began in 1999 when she became a Surgical Technologist, assisting in various surgical settings ranging from outpatient procedures to critical trauma cases at Shands Medical Center. She earned her degree as a Registered Nurse in 2001 and began her nursing career focused on organ transplantation at the Mayo Clinic. Ms. Hurst gained clinical expertise in liver, kidney and lung transplantation. In 2008, Ms. Hurst earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued to advance her career by earning her Master of Science in Nursing and graduating as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in 2012 from Jacksonville University. As an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Hurst became an integral part of the lung transplant program at the Mayo Clinic, managing complicated patients both pre and post lung transplantation. Ms. Hurst was also involved in multiple research studies at the Mayo Clinic aimed at the advancement of lung transplantation. She is a member of the International Transplant Nursing Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Ms. Hurst joined Exceptional Case Services in 2018 as a Medical Consultant, with a focus in Workers’ Compensation and medical case management. She is a member of the Workers Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP), and Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS).
